Details: The Interior Designing of the Hotel for an
Investment Proposal
Project: GREEN ECHO*, A " Green" Luxury Initiative, www.geof.us
Details: This initiative started with a proposal for an "Environmentally Green"
Luxury boutique hotel in Chicago. I was responsible for all of the
design aspects of the proposal . Born of this proposal, I have formed a collaborative
membership forum, which expands on the ideas from the hotel proposal
and forms a broader conceptual vision of "Green Luxury".
As a conceptual vision, "Green Luxury" dispels the notion
that luxury and Eco-consciousness cannot be intertwined.
Our role in this initiative is to serve as a liaison between
the luxury sector and companies that carry eco/organic
product lines. In turn, through this forum, we are reaching out to companies
that want to successfully blend luxury with an Eco-friendly
lifestyle in their own way, no matter how small. By reaching out to both the luxury sector
and "green" companies, we are catering to a growing section of the
population that believes living well includes the
well being of our earth. (*Trademark pending)
Volunteer Services: The Promise Project, An After School Program for 6th, 7th and
8th Graders in Hempstead, New York
Details: I volunteer for The Promise Project by conducting a weekly Art Workshop that
provides these eager and intelligent children with the further development of their inner artist
through the exposure to many different mediums of art. It is my goal to provide an artistic
means for self discovery. I also want to reinforce the belief that anything is possible if you
truly believe in yourself.
